GENERAL
When and where will the conference take place?
The Fall Professional Development Conference will be held on September 28, 2024. It will be in person in Calgary at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel.
When will registration open/close?
Registration is opening in August. When conference registration opens, please visit the Registration tab from the main conference page to sign up to attend.
Registration Deadline: September 13, 2024
I am unable to take the whole day off work. Can I register for specific sessions or a half-day?
Logistically, we are not able to provide that option at this time. Only the full day conference registration is available.
I’m not an RxA member, can I still attend the conference?
Currently, our conferences are RxA member-exclusive events. Information on becoming an RxA member can be found by clicking here.
How much does it cost to attend the PD Conference?
- RxA Pharmacist Member: $275 + GST
- RxA 4th Year Student Member: $100 + GST
What does the cost of my registration include?
You will receive a name badge when you arrive on site. With your name badge, you will have access to attend all sessions and the Annual General Meeting. Meals on Saturday are included in your conference registration cost.
Does the registration fee include travel costs for the conference?
No. All travel costs, including air and hotel accommodation, are the attendee’s responsibility. See below for details on hotel accommodations through the conference venue.
Is on-demand or live streaming viewing available?
No. Only in-person participation is available for this event.

Where do I find the conference agenda or session times?
Conference agenda and session times can be viewed on the main conference page or in PDF format.
Will CCCEP credits be available for conference sessions?
Yes, you are able to claim CCCEP credits for the sessions you attend.

ACCOMMODATIONS
How do I make a hotel reservation?
A special RxA PD Conference rate is available until September 9, 2024. Instructions on how to book accommodation at the host hotel will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
When is RxA’s AGM?
RxA will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
How do I attend only the AGM?

EXHIBIT HALL
Will there be an exhibit hall?
There will be an exhibit hall where exhibitors can interact with attendees and showcase their products.
My company would like to participate as an exhibitor – how does that work?
We have lots of space and opportunities for exhibitors. If your organization or company is interested in joining the Exhibit Hall, please contact krystal.melnychuk@rxa.ca for more details.
