Pharmacist Membership

As a licensed pharmacist in Alberta, you are eligible for an RxA membership.

  • RxA’s membership year is July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
  • The cost of a pharmacist membership is $482.87 + $24.14 = $507.01

New to Alberta Practice Pharmacist Membership

You are eligible for a New to Alberta Practice Pharmacist membership if you are a:  

  • Pharmacist who is transitioning from the Alberta College of Pharmacy provisional register to the clinical practice register on or after May 1, 2026. 
  • Pharmacist moving to Alberta who is new to the Alberta College of Pharmacy clinical practice register on or after May 1, 2026. 
  • The cost of a New to Alberta Practice pharmacist membership is $482.87 + $24.14 = $507.01
    SAVE 75%: $117.57 + $5.88 (GST) = $123.44

U of A Student, Learner or Provisional Pharmacist (Intern) Membership

You are eligible for a complimentary RxA Student or Provisional Pharmacist (Intern) membership if you are:

  • Currently enrolled in the Entry to Practice Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta.  Please note: The student membership does not apply to the PharmD for Practicing Pharmacists Program.
  • Currently registered as a Provisional Pharmacist (Intern) with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
  • Currently registered as a learner in the Certificate to Canadian Pharmacy Practice at the University of Alberta.

Non-Practicing Pharmacist

You are eligible if you are a pharmacist that is currently not on the clinical practicing register either temporarily or permanently such as those on maternity leave or retired.

  • The cost of a Non-Practicing pharmacist membership is $482.87 + $24.14 = $507.01
    SAVE 75%: $117.57 + $5.88 (GST) = $123.44

Associate Member

You are eligible as a person who has interest in the conduct of the profession of pharmacy in Alberta and who is not otherwise eligible for membership. *Does not have access to member chats.
