The Alberta Pharmacists’ Association (RxA) has partnered with the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) to provide our members access to professional development education at a reduced rate. RxA members can access a Comprehensive Diabetes Education preparation course as well as a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) preparation course. Find more information here.

The Yearly Booster Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Program 2022 – 2023
This course will provide an overview of the policies and procedures for pharmacists participating in the delivery of Alberta’s publicly funded influenza vaccine for the 2022-2023 season. It will also outline how to access and utilize references & resources available for pharmacists administering influenza vaccine. Join pharmacist Jason Kmet as he discusses the rules, regulations, standards, products and resources pharmacists need to be familiar with to deliver influenza immunization.
