Position: Relief Pharmacist

Location: Alberta

Employment Type: May-September

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in various pharmacy settings
• Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness
• Provide medication counseling to patients, promoting safe and effective use of medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry trends, and regulations
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic

Requirements:

• Licensed pharmacist in Alberta (active and in good standing)
• Availability for flexible scheduling to accommodate relief shifts
• Familiarity with multiple pharmacy systems and software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
