Job Description
The Full Time Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for providing superior pharmacy patient care, under the supervision of a pharmacist, in a friendly and professional manner. The successful candidate is able to work efficiently in a team environment. Full time position for 30-40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:
-Accurate prescription preparation
-Data entry and documentation skills
-Point-of-sale
-Proficient phone, fax and computer skills
-Compliance packaging
-Inventory maintenance
-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
-Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements
-Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
-Superior customer service skills
-Graduate of a college pharmacy assistant program or a minimum 1+ years related experience in community pharmacy
-Ability to work independently in a fast environment
-Enthusiastic learner
-Strong work ethic and collaborative manner in a team setting
-Strong problem solving skills
-Above average oral and written communication skills
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software an asset
-Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status and to follow all mask guidelines

About Ace Pharmacy (www.acemedpharm.ca)
-Ace Pharmacy will be opening March 2022
-New family owned and operated independent pharmacy
-Located beside Ace Medical Clinic in the Arbours of Keswick Neighbourhood in Southwest Edmonton
-Pharmacy operating hours will be Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and SAT 10am-4pm. Closed Sundays and Holidays.
