Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who wishes to work as part of a concerted multidisciplinary effort to help the most vulnerable in Calgary. You must have the flexibility to be able to work every second weekend 3-4 hours per day, doing clinical work and working independently.

Immediate availability is required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing prescriptions, manage patient interactions offsite and at the store level, and do clinical consults.

The ideal candidate will hold the following credentials:

Education and Experience:

Registered pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists
Demonstrated experience with vulnerable populations (preferred)
Qualifications and Skills:

Computer proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Kroll, Netcare, and other database programs.
Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Assists patients with questions.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Communicates effectively at all levels.
Very strong attention to detail.
Accepts and responds to changing priorities.

Part-time hours: 6 per week
