Job Description

Life Med Pharmacy is looking for a pharmacist or new pharmacy graduate to join our progressive, patient focused and growing pharmacy team in a permanent, full time capacity.

This position is well suited for someone with an interest in addictions and mental health, who also wants to work with patients with multiple co-morbidities. The right person for this job will thrive working in a collaborative team environment with other healthcare professionals, and will be growth oriented. This individual will also be excited about new and innovative ways of delivering healthcare and will be passionate about the profession.

We want you to join us in Whitecourt; a young community, with lots to offer. It has a population of approximately 10,000 people and is located a short 1.5-hour drive from Edmonton.

Description of Duties:
• Providing pharmacy services such as Comprehensive Annual Care Plans and Injections
• Regular dispensing duties (Counseling for prescription and non-prescription products)
• Providing on-site services to patients in care facilities
• Engage with local physicians to provide excellent care for patients

Working hours:
Monday to Friday: 9-6 and some Saturdays 10-2
Closed all evenings, Sundays and holidays

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and be registered in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy (or will seek registration)

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
