Job Description: Pharmacists are committed to the integration of knowledge and skill in the provision of quality client-focused pharmacy services within the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). They are responsible for all medication related needs of all clients, the provision of drug information to physicians and other health care professionals.

 Opportunities to work in either a Community, Regional or Tertiary Care Hospitals
 Practice areas range from primary care, medical wards to intensive care
 Strong support from Pharmacy Technicians and use of technology to allow Pharmacists to practice at their full scope

Required Qualifications: Entry to Practice Pharm D; Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals

Experience: No previous experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently; Articulates theory and knowledge related to pharmaceutical care; Interpersonal skills; Effective verbal and written communication skills with patients, their representatives, and other healthcare professionals; Ability to integrate clinical knowledge and experience into activities to enhance client care as it relates to drug therapy; and Valid Driver’s License

Rate of Pay: $48.275 to $56.154 (5 Step Range)
