Part Time Pharmacist Position

Our team includes registered pharmacy technicians, assistants, and pharmacy students.  We are proud to host 1^st and 4^th year pharmacy student rotations, which provides us with great opportunities to educate, coach and train upcoming pharmacists.

Position on Offer:

We are looking for a part-time pharmacist to work a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts, to cover a maternity leave.

Job duties:

• Practice full scope of practice within federal/provincial regulatory/legal requirements
• Compound, prepare and dispense medications
• Provide OTC, health care aids and device counselling
• Participate in health promotion, prevention, and public health activities such as immunizations, disease management screening and consultation clinics
• Conduct medication reviews and work collaboratively with other health care professionals to achieve patient care goals
• Adapt prescriptions regarding dose and dosage form to meet individual needs
• Plan, organize, direct and control workflow during shift
