Job Description

Pharmacy Technicians are required to help support various Mint projects and patients. Pharmacy Technicians will help in the safe and efficient dispensing of medication by our Mint Health + Drugs pharmacies in our inner-city Edmonton location.

This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician who wishes to work as part of a concerted multidisciplinary effort to help the most vulnerable in Edmonton.

We are searching for Full-time/Part-time and Casual applicants.

**PLEASE NOTE: Employee Benefits listed and paid time off are only for Full-time employees. Part-time and Casual employees do not qualify for benefits and get their vacation automatically paid out.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pharmacists prepare prescriptions, enter data, and assist with patient interactions at the store level. The successful candidates will hold the following credentials:

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of a college Pharmacy Technician program
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerable populations (preferred)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Kroll, Netcare, and other database programs.
• Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Communicates effectively at all levels.
• Very strong attention to detail.
• Accepts and responds to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
