Job Description

Hardin Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated and passionate pharmacist to join our team. Hardin Pharmacy is an independently owned pharmacy located in downtown Fort McMurray.

Full Time Pharmacist:

32-40 hours per week.

Availability requirements:

Weekdays and Weekends: M-F: 9-6 Sat: 10-4

Immediate availability is required.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prescriptions verification ensuring they are filled accurately, efficiently and safely
• Performing medication reviews and medications management services as per the provincial standards
• Counselling prescription and non-prescription medications appropriately
• Working collaboratively with patient’s physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes
• Applying full scope of practice as a clinical pharmacist in Alberta

Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Injection certification
• Strong sense of professionalism and work ethic
• Superior patient and physician relation skills
• Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Commitment to provide excellent customer service
• Proof of professional liability insurance coverage
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll (paperless)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience with the pharmacy services framework
