Job Description

Full Time Pharmacy Technician
(or experienced Pharmacy Assistant)
Position Available
COPPERFIELD PHARMASAVE
15566 McIvor Blvd SE, Calgary

Join a pharmacy that combines innovative patient care with a
modernized compensation model to match!

We’re growing again!  With the increasing demand for our unique products and services, we’re in need of an additional pharmacy staff member.  Although we may have the look of a traditional community pharmacy, the staff’s emphasis on professional services and high-quality care is anything but!

In addition to helping fill prescriptions and address unique patient needs with an extended home health care section, you will have an opportunity to assist pharmacists in their delivery of CACPs, SMMAs, injections, and additional prescribing in an environment that provides you the time you need along with the compensation you deserve.   We also have a large Level C non-sterile compounding lab with a repackaging license, and provide compounds for local patients as well as to pharmacies across the province.  So, as you can imagine, compounding will be a substantial part of your workload.

This isn’t just about fitting more into your work day –
it’s about changing the pharmacy model completely!

If you’re a self-motivated pharmacy technician or assistant interested in making a real difference to patients and the future of pharmacy, this is the place for you!

Candidate’s drive, vision for pharmacy, past experience with Kroll, and ability to garner positive relationships with patients and other healthcare providers will be considered first and foremost.  Other valuable assets include compression fitting certification, experience and interest in specialty compounding, past experience with helping patients fit/choose braces and specialty wound care items, and/or specialization in a specific area.  Strong knowledge of Kroll & adjudicating insurance plans, as well as extensive past work experience in a pharmacy, is a must.

Position will start at 32-40 hours per week, with some nights and weekend shifts.

Position will be filled as soon as the right candidate is sourced –
Apply soon to ensure you are considered!
(
Note: Only candidates invited for an interview will be contacted)
