Job Description

Deansgate Remedy’s RX Pharmacy is looking to hire a Pharmacist to add to our team. This full time position team member will assist in managing the operations of the Pharmacy, including providing consultation to both customers and health care providers, practice to full scope in providing professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in the maintenance of the dispensary. 

A day in the life:

• Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions/compounds and patient focused services as required
• Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription, compounding, and OTC products to provide excellent customer service and strengthen customer loyalty
• Accurately checking compound prescriptions and creating formulas requested
• Maintenance of complete and accurate documentation as required by the various Colleges of Pharmacy, drugs plans as well as our internal processes

We are looking for a Pharmacist with:

• Minimum of three to five years of experience, preferably in a small business setting with non-sterile compounding work experience an asset
• A pharmacy license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists
• Motivation to learn and excel in small team environment, working independently as well as leading the team as needed
• A strong desire to create a focused work ethic and patient-centered care culture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to provide the best customer service to our existing and new patients
• Certification to administer medications by Injection
• Additional Prescribing Authorization is an asset (preferred)
• Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset
