Protect Patient Access to Pharmacists Provided Care
The government’s plan to refocus healthcare looks more like removing access and restricting care. At a time when hospital systems are stretched to their limits, efforts should be made to expand support and enable pharmacists to work to their full scope of practice. Limiting care is not a solution, its a setback. Alberta’s healthcare system needs investment and empowerment, not barriers that prevent people from getting the help they deserve.
