Looking for a simpler way to navigate Alberta’s pharmacy framework? We’ve created a new tool to help!
RxA is pleased to introduce the Pharmacy Framework Navigator, a new interactive resource designed to help pharmacists find information and guidance related to Alberta’s pharmacy framework.
Rather than searching through multiple policies and documents, pharmacists can explore key topics, work through common dispensing scenarios and find links to relevant resources, all in one place.
The Navigator includes information on:
- Maintenance medications and daily dispensing requirements
- Billing requirements and intervention codes
- Clinical services and PINs
- Bill 11 and other dispensing policies
- Frequently asked questions and links to official resources
This is an evolving resource, and we want your feedback! As pharmacists begin using the Navigator, we encourage members to share suggestions, flag unclear information or identify areas where additional guidance would be helpful.
