Job Description

Position Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Term: Approximately 12–18 months, with the anticipated start date and end date to be discussed during the hiring process.

We are seeking a motivated and professional Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team on a temporary basis to provide coverage for a maternity leave.

The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative pharmacy team and will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while providing high-quality service to patients. The position will involve the full scope of pharmacy technician responsibilities appropriate to the role, including prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory management, patient service, and other duties within the technician’s scope of practice.

We are looking for an individual who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset.

Qualifications:

-Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to providing excellent patient service

Compensation: Wage will be discussed with qualified candidates as part of the hiring process and will be based on experience, qualifications, and the requirements of the position.
