Relief Pharmacist

Locally owned and managed by pharmacists specializing in compounding, Dispensaries Ltd. has served the greater Edmonton area since 1934. Dispensaries Ltd. holds a strong commitment to patient care and providing the highest quality of service.

Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-centric PT/FT relief pharmacist to fill various positions within our six locations (Edmonton, Sherwood Park and St. Albert).  The right candidate will have Kroll experience and handle a multi-dimensional practice with plenty of opportunities to grow clinically.  A great multidisciplinary practice environment and chance to work with physicians, specialists and allied health clinicians to provide quality patient care.  We have a passion for and promote healthy living and disease prevention for longevity.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this opportunity, the ideal candidate must be:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP)
  • A minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience
  • Two years of compounding experience would be helpful but not required.
  • Have the authorization to administer drugs by injection and additional prescribing authority (APA).
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, analytical skills and ability to think critically. Practical customer-focused communication skills are essential (Verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills and knowledge to prioritize workload
  • Understanding of BHRT would be an asset.
