Job Description

We’re looking for full time pharmacy technician and assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and other Pharmacy Team Members, you will be responsible for:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of the accuracy of all pertinent prescription information before filling
• Data entry of patient care information
• Third-party adjudication where required and necessary
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• General OTC inquiries from patients and referrals to Pharmacists where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick-up
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
• Preparing compliance packaging
• Receiving OTC orders in POS system 
• Certified technician will practice within full scope of practice as per ACP

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy setting
• Strong commitment to providing high-level customer service experience
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
• Strong communication skills
• Strong motivation to succeed
• Proficient computer/data/entry skills
• Experience with Kroll is an asset
