Job Description

Pharmasave on Centre is looking to hire motivated registered pharmacy technicians for part time and full time positions in our non sterile compounding department and dispensary. We are open 7 days a week including statutory holidays.. Experience in non sterile compounding is an asset but not a necessity. Successful candidates will assist in the dispensary as well- function, cleanliness, operational aspects of the pharmacy.

Skills:

Candidates must be able to learn new skills. They must be able to work quickly and accurately without continual direct supervision. Candidates must understand and be able to work under the Standards of practice for non sterile compounding and their scope of practice. They must be able to work as a team player. They must have an interest in clinical services and patient care.

Candidate must be able to work long periods wearing PPE.

This position(s) could be part time or full time depending on the successful candidate(s). Experience is a benefit.

Melrose Drugs Ltd is an independent pharmacy operating under the Pharmasave banner. It is a family owned and operated community pharmacy. We offer non sterile compounding and home medical supplies. We have operated in Airdrie for over 30 years. We are open Monday- Friday 9-7, Saturday 9-6, Sunday 10-5 and Stat holidays 11-5.
