Job Description

Ready for more autonomy, more impact, and the opportunity to build something of your own?

We are developing a new community pharmacy in Whitecourt and are seeking a Pharmacy Manager with an interest in part ownership. This is a chance to step into a role where your ideas, decisions, and vision directly shape the future of the business.

The Opportunity

This is a ground-up pharmacy development with significant potential for growth and expansion. You won’t be stepping into a pre-defined role—you’ll help create it.

From clinical services to workflow design to community partnerships, you’ll have the flexibility to build a pharmacy that reflects how you believe care should be delivered.

We are looking for someone who wants to integrate into the community, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting difference in patients’ lives.

Ownership Potential

This role includes the opportunity for part ownership/equity participation for the right candidate—because we believe the people building the business should share in its success.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity for part ownership

  • Competitive compensation package

  • College licensing fees covered

  • RxA membership paid

  • Professional liability insurance included

  • Comprehensive health benefits

  • Support from an experienced, independent pharmacy group

  • Autonomy to innovate and grow your practice

The Role

  • Lead the development and day-to-day operations of a new pharmacy

  • Build and mentor a strong, engaged team

  • Establish relationships with local healthcare providers and community members

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

  • Drive growth, services, and long-term vision

Who You Are

  • Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) Pharmacist in Alberta

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in ownership

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Passionate about community-based care

  • Motivated to build something meaningful and long-lasting

This opportunity is for someone ready to take the next step—
to lead, to grow, and to create a pharmacy that reflects their vision of patient care.

If that sounds like you, let’s start the conversation.
