Job Description

Carmi Remedy’sRx is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Manager for our location in Penticton, BC. We are looking for a charismatic and professional pharmacist willing to engage in patient care and assist in the provision of clinical services offered at the pharmacy.

Our pharmacy is an established independent pharmacy with two specialty compounding labs, a large blister pack clientele, and a focus on a number of clinical services. These include:

• 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
• Hormone consultations
• Travel health consultations
• Publicly funded and private vaccinations
• Compression stocking fittings
• MACS
• OAT

The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, closed weekends and stat holidays.

The pharmacy manager will be supported by two pharmacists, a technician and two pharmacy assistants and will be responsible for:

• Regulatory and privacy compliance
• Policy management
• Timely provision of care (day to day dispensing, clinical scheduling, vaccine administration)
• Overview of compliance packaging
• Inventory management
• Critical thinking approach to improving efficiency, expanding services and growing the business

Proficiency with Kroll Pharmacy Management Solutions, compounding experience, CDE® or CTH® certification would be considered assets (but not essential) for the position.

Wage and benefits:

The hourly pay is $60-$65 based on a candidate’s previous experience, with the addition of:
