Job Description

Job Type: Regular Full-Time.

Start Date: Oct01/2022.

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to add to our pharmacy team at Medistar Pharmacy Skyview. Candidate must have experience on Kroll.

Working as a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of prescription information prior to entering.

• Data entry of patient care information and dealing with third party insurance providers.

• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.

• Maintenance of pharmacy stock and inventory.

• Handling pick-up, drop off counters and answering phones.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant.

• Excellent organizational, computer/data/entry and communication skills.

• Previous customer service experience.

• Flexibility to work any shift between 9-8pm on weekdays and ability to work independently or with minimum supervision.

Education:

Pharmacy Assistant Diploma program or related studies in Pharmacy field from accredited institution.

**Proficiency in Punjabi and Hindi language is an asset**
