Job Title:

Pharmacy Assistant, Full-time permanent

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as Pharmacy Assistant. In this role, you will support the pharmacist in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. The successful candidate will work full-time hours (~32 hours per week) Monday through Friday.  You will assist with medication dispensing, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Job Description:

• Greet customers in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
• Gather prescription information, input demographic and prescription information into database
• Process, package and complete payment processing for customer prescriptions
• Maintain patient profiles and ensure they are updated
• Coordinate blister package filling and scheduling
• Organize medication delivery processes with our courier
• All Cash and till duties
• Ordering products and pharmacy supplies
• Other duties as required

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Experience in building relationships in a community setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to think critically and make independent decisions.
• Strong organizational skills
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in community pharmacy is preferred.
• Experience with Kroll dispensing software is preferred.
