Pharmacist (Dispensary) – CareRx Edmonton

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacist to join our Edmonton team. Under the general direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care ensuring the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients. The Staff Pharmacist responds to a multitude of scenarios including, but not limited to: Verifying safe and appropriate medication administration, assessing and dispensing critical medications, rapidly responding to palliative care prescriptions and arranging drug deliveries with our delivery team.

Location: This role will be on site at 17969 106 Avenue NW, Edmonton AB T5S 2H1 and follows a five-day work week with required participation in the On-call Pharmacist evening and weekend rotations.
