Part-Time Pharmacist Opportunity – Starting May | Drayton Valley, AB (Approx. 1 hr 20 mins from Edmonton)

An independent pharmacy in Drayton Valley, Alberta—located approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes southwest of Edmonton—is looking for a part-time pharmacist to join their team starting in May.

We are seeking a motivated, self-directed pharmacist with strong clinical experience who is comfortable using the Kroll system. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a stable schedule, a supportive environment, and potential long-term partnership opportunities, including bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medication therapy management services to patients
• Ensure accurate and efficient prescription filling
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations including scheduling, inventory management, and staff coordination
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with patients and providers
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Active license and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
• Must be authorized to perform APA (Additional Prescribing Authorization)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting
• Clinical background and proficiency with Kroll
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Schedule & Support:

• Choose any 2 days per week (Preference: Thursdays & Fridays, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Open to working additional days if interested
