We are looking for a part-time/casual/relief pharmacist to work on contract at our Pharmasave store (Milligan Drive Pharmasave)

Location: Okotoks, AB
Schedule: Part-time (approx. 16 hours/week to start; possibility of increasing hours ); no late evenings, no Sundays or STAT’s.

Role Overview
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and professional pharmacist to join our close-knit team. You will practice to the full extent of your scope in a community-centered setting, ensuring our patients receive high-quality, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide personalized counseling on prescriptions and OTC medications, tailoring education to individual patient needs.
• Clinical Services: Deliver expanded-scope services including [CACP, injections/vaccines, prescribing for minor ailments, or medication reviews].
• Workflow: Accurately dispense medications while overseeing technical staff (Assistants) to ensure a safe and efficient dispensary.
• Community Connection: Act as a “Personal Pharmacist” for our regulars, managing chronic conditions and collaborating with local Okotoks health professionals.

Qualifications

• License: Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
• Certifications: Authorization to administer injections is required; Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) is a strong asset, as is having CDE.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Kroll pharmacy software is highly preferred.
