Full-Time Staff Pharmacist – Join a Supportive, Community Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense all prescriptions, including verifying and checking prescriptions
  • Perform patient-focused clinical services as eligible and appropriate for patients, and document accordingly
  • Provide professional advice and dialogue on prescription and OTC products
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications, including side effects and interactions
  • Administer injections and immunizations
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
  • Deliver pharmaceutical care to a diverse range of patients, including pediatrics and acute care
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy assistants and support staff
  • Manage medication therapies and ensure proper inventory, labeling, and storage
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety standards
  • Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and contribute to a team-oriented work environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in Alberta preferred
  • Proficiency with Kroll software
  • Authorization to administer injections and valid CPR certification
  • Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) is an asset
  • Experience or comfort working with vulnerable populations
