Full-Time Staff Pharmacist – Join a Supportive, Community Pharmacy

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense all prescriptions, including verifying and checking prescriptions
- Perform patient-focused clinical services as eligible and appropriate for patients, and document accordingly
- Provide professional advice and dialogue on prescription and OTC products
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications, including side effects and interactions
- Administer injections and immunizations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Deliver pharmaceutical care to a diverse range of patients, including pediatrics and acute care
- Supervise and direct pharmacy assistants and support staff
- Manage medication therapies and ensure proper inventory, labeling, and storage
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety standards
- Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and contribute to a team-oriented work environment

Candidate Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in Alberta preferred
- Proficiency with Kroll software
- Authorization to administer injections and valid CPR certification
- Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) is an asset
- Experience or comfort working with vulnerable populations
