Job Description

Gibbons Guardian Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated family pharmacy that has
been proudly serving the Gibbons community for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on
building genuine relationships with our patients and practicing to the full extent of our
scope in a supportive work environment.

We are looking for a friendly, professional pharmacist to join our team. While reporting
to the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring professional dispensing
and pharmacy practices as well as maintaining high levels of customer service.

Location: Gibbons is a small community located just 20 minutes north of Edmonton.
This is the perfect opportunity for those who live in the city but desire a small town,
independent pharmacy work environment.

Schedule: Part Time or Full Time (24-40 hours/week); no late evenings,and we are
closed on Sundays and statutory holidays. Occasionally you will be required to help out
at our other locations in Gibbons and Fort Saskatchewan (also a 15-20 minute drive
from North Edmonton or Sherwood Park).

Qualifications:
● License: Active Pharmacist in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
● Certifications: Authorization to administer injections is required; Additional
Prescribing Authorization is a strong asset.
● Communication skills: Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal
skills, ability to work well in a team setting, excellent customer service skills and a
strong sense of professionalism are all requirements.
● Technical Skills: Experience with PropelRx software system is preferred, but not
a requirement.
