Job Description

Yakimets Pharmacy is looking to hire a Full Time Staff Pharmacist to join their team. The position will offer a minimum of 32 hours per week between our stores. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the staff pharmacist is responsible for ensuring professional dispensing and pharmacy practices and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and licensed to practice in the Province of Alberta
• Registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Have authorization to perform injections
• Have additional prescribing authority (preference, but not a requirement)
• Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well in a team setting
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Experience with PropelRx pharmacy system (preference, but not a requirement)

The successful candidate must be available Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, Fridays 9:00am to 6:00pm, as well as Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm (1-2 Saturdays/month). We are closed all Sundays and Stat Holidays. This candidate must be able to help out at our other locations as required (Gibbons Guardian & Gibbons Remedy’s RX).
