Job Description
Yakimets Guardian Pharmacy, Gibbons Guardian Pharmacy, and Gibbons Remedy’sRx are locally owned and operated, independent family pharmacies that proudly serve the Fort Saskatchewan and Gibbons communities. We pride ourselves on building genuine relationships with our patients and practicing to the full extent of our scope in a supportive work environment. Our Remedy’sRx store has a non-sterile and hazardous compounding facility, providing an opportunity to learn more about compounding if this is something that interests you.Â
We are looking for a friendly, professional pharmacist to join our team. While reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring professional dispensing and pharmacy practices as well as maintaining high levels of customer service.Â
Location: Fort Saskatchewan is located just 20 minutes from North Edmonton, and 15
minutes from Sherwood Park. We are conveniently located in a medical building so this
is the perfect location for those who desire a close, collaborative work environment with
other healthcare professionals.Â
Our Gibbons locations are right across the street from each other and are just 20 minutes from Fort Saskatchewan and North Edmonton.Â
Schedule: Part Time or Full Time (24-40 hours/week) based on your preference; no late evenings (stores close between 5PM-7PM), and we are closed on Sundays and statutory holidays.Â
Qualifications:
- License: Active Pharmacist in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Certifications: Authorization to administer injections is required; Additional
Prescribing Authorization is a strong asset. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal
skills, ability to work well in a team setting, excellent customer service skills and a
strong sense of professionalism are all requirements. - Technical Skills: Experience with PropelRx software system is preferred, but not
a requirement. Compounding experience is an asset, but not a requirement.Â
