Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Pharmacistto join our Pharmacy team on a full-time basis at our location in Vermilion, AB. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the successful applicant will demonstrate genuine interpersonal and communicationskills along with efficient dispensing skills. •Acknowledge patients and customers promptly and professionally

•Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and customers

•Accurately and timely dispense prescriptions including obtain, interpret, and evaluate all prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy,and completeness

•Informc ustomers and patients about the signs, side affects, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage of prescribed pharmaceuticals •Counsel and provide professional advice to patients on prescriptionand OTC products to provide excellent customer service and maximize customer loyalty

•Administer injections/ immunizations as requested to maximize patient care

•Be encouraged and supported in practising with the expanded scope-of-practice –including medication reviews, developing care plans and follow-ups, ordering lab work and additional prescribing (if authorized)

•Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulationsincluding maintenance of complete and accurate documentation as required by the College of Pharmacy, drug plans, and company programs

•Supervise Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians

•Maintain cleaning standards and appearance of the department

•Assist and complete financial documents as requested by administration

•Participate in strategies to growour business

•Be safety aware and contribute to building and sustaining our positive safety culture

•Able to work a variety of shifts –including days, evenings, and weekends on a rotational basis

•Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety

•Perform other duties and projects as assigned

We need you to lead outstanding Co-op experiences.

•You’re licensed and able to practice as a pharmacist in Alberta (and be in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists)

•You have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacyor PharmD

•Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) would be considered an asset

•Travel health certification would be considered an asset

•Injection certified

•You have an interest or certification in geriatrics, diabetes, travel, and smoking cessation

•Strong customer / patient satisfaction orientation

•High level of professionalism and confidentiality

•You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members

•You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do

•You believe in building relationships and collaboratingto deliver solutions that matter most,and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
