Job Description

Sunset Ridge Pharmacy is a clinical-focused community pharmacy in the growing community of Cochrane, Alberta. We are an established business (10+ years) with a loyal clientele that trusts us with their health and medication needs. Pharmacists are almost purely clinical; pharmacy technicians take care of all dispensing, packaging and compounding tasks.

We are willing to hire any level of experience, but a successful pharmacy candidate must be willing to practice at the top of their professional scope as the majority of your time will be spent managing medications for patients through assessments and renewals, initial prescribing for acute and chronic conditions, providing injections and answering patient questions. We are willing to train and support pharmacists who are keen on practicing to the next level, but have not yet had the opportunity to do so. Overlap with long term staff pharmacists will be available (except for vacations and weekends).

Working knowledge of Kroll is a must. Training on Kroll Paperless workflow can be provided. Working directly with the store managers and owners, you will have the ability to help shape your practice.
