Job Description

Penny+Fausta Pharmacy is a pharmacy with a strategic vision to provide patient-centric care and to collaborate with physicians and other health care providers. We are focused on engaging patients to realize positive health and lifestyle strategies to improve health outcomes and support them in achieving their health care goals.

We are a community pharmacy providing a full scope of professional and prescription services within the central neighborhood of West Hillhurst. We are looking for a pharmacist passionate about their work and the profession like we are. Someone entrepreneurial, eager to learn new skills, take on new and exciting projects and work to their full scope of practice. We have extensive experience in collaborative care models and want to foster this in our pharmacy and the community.
The successful applicant must have APA, injection certification, a prac Id and Kroll experience

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Dispensing activities
Medication management including patient assessment and other professional services
Collaboration with primary care physicians and other health care providers
Health promotion activities including vaccinations and screening measures
Patient education including chronic disease management
Ordering of laboratory tests as required for monitoring and management
Simple Compounding
Provide leadership in the pharmacy and community
Thorough knowledge of ACP Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Licensed member of the Alberta College of Pharmacists
Certifications such as CDE, CRE, CTH or other relevant clinical experience is an asset
Kroll experience is REQUIRED

Strong motivational interviewing skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills
