Bow Island Apple Drugs is an independently owned pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive health services. Our staff is committed to optimum patient health through dedicated pharmacy practices and collaborative healthcare. The pharmacy is open Monday – Friday 9-6pm.

Summary

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as a licensee at Apple Drugs in Bow Island. This role is vital in delivering expert medication management and patient care within our community-focused pharmacy. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of enhancing health outcomes through clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Full-time pharmacist and licensee – may work 4 or 5 days per week
• Engage patients to conduct CACPs and SMMAs, counsel and follow-up with patients, prescribing as appropriate and administer injections
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.

Job Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with ACP in good standing
• ACP licensee education program (can complete after hiring)
• Previous community pharmacy experience an asset
• Authorization to Inject required and Additional Prescribing Authorization an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Kroll experience an asset
• Be willing to collaborate with other health care providers
