This harm reduction focused program is aimed at helping pharmacists discover communication strategies to assist in the building and maintenance of professional relationships with patients requiring harm reduction measures. Pharmacists can learn about interdisciplinary collaboration, stigma, the ethical aspects of care in harm reduction, and how to apply harm reduction principles in their practice. Finally, the interactive and patient-centred session will also review the various harm reduction medications and treatment options used in opioid dependence.
