Job Description

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and team oriented individual to join our Health Centre in South Calgary. This is a part time staff pharmacist position offering early evenings and Sundays off.

The Staff Pharmacist Role

As a staff pharmacist, you will work with the pharmacy team to ensure that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while ensuring optimal patient care and support. Your role will include building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with the full healthcare team at our Centre, ensuring we maintain an appropriate and accurate product inventory, and exploring ways to improve or develop the variety of pharmaceutical services we offer to the public.

Duties Include

· Collaboration with our healthcare team and specialists

– Ensuring adherence to workplace policies and procedures

· Assistance and guidance for our dispensary team, and healthcare partners

· Communication and education related to products and patient safety

· Assisting the team with Health Promotion and Educational opportunities

· Ensuring accurate and complete record keeping according to provincial and federal laws

What You Bring To The Team

· Currently licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy

· APA certification an asset

– Excellent written and communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal and team building skills

· 1-2 years experience will be an asset

· Familiar with Kroll software and Netcare
