Job Description
Job duties:
- Reviewing prescriptions to ensure that they are complete and accurate
- Entering customer information and prescription details into our database
- Supporting pharmacists and other staff members with preparing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products
- Helping to maintain accurate inventories of medications and other pharmaceutical products
- Preparing oral solutions, ointments, and creams as needed
- Check prescriptions for proper dosage
- Processing medical billing information, including billing third party insurers, if necessary
- Stocking shelves and setting prices as required.
Skills requirements:
- Work Experience: a minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience
- Minimum Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Excellent oral and written communication, accurate, organized and a team player
Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time position, 40hrs/wk
Language of work: English
Wage: $22.50/hr
Location of work: Rural town
