Drayton Valley Value Drug Mart

At Drayton Valley Value Drug Mart we are looking for a full time Registered Pharmacist to join our team. As our pharmacy offers many services to our varied patients, we are looking for a motivated individual that is eager to learn or expand their practice and contribute ideas.

• The position will require the individual to have strong team skills, but also the ability to work well independently.
• Excellent communication skills are a must as superior patient care is our goal.
• The candidate must also be great at multi-tasking in a busy setting.
• As a truly independent pharmacy we are able to customize our services to our patients’ needs. The individual would be excited to be able to use this to their advantage.

Job Duties
• Perform regular dispensing duties, counselling on prescription and non-prescription products.
• Provide pharmacy services such as medication reviews, administering injections, compounding and developing care plans.
• If authorized, ordering lab work and prescribing additional medications.
• Manage inventory and support staff in the pharmacy.
• Adhere to applicable laws and regulations, company policies and procedures while maintaining high professional standards.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Pharmacy with strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists
• Injection Certified – APA is an asset

Business Hours
Monday-Friday 9am-7pm Saturday 9am-6pm Sundays and Stat Holidays Closed
Daytime and weekend shifts are shared with flexible days off on weekends and weekdays
