Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pharmacists prepare prescriptions, check prescriptions, enter data, and assist with patient interactions at the store level. Also, technician will be responsible for front store organization and regular stocking. The successful candidates will hold the following credentials:

Education and Experience:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacists
• Previous experience working in compounding pharmacy would be an asset
• Pharmacy experience in various settings would be an asset
• Experience with Kroll (preferred)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Kroll, Netcare, and other database programs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Assists patients with questions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Communicates effectively at all levels.
• Excellent attention to details.
• Accepts and responds to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
