Job Description
Balkwill Pharmacy is looking to add another full time pharmacist to our team to work alongside our pharmacy manager/owner in all aspects of pharmacy operations! We are a small independent pharmacy located in Trochu, Alberta (90km SE of Red Deer, 130km NE of Calgary), that has been the sole pharmacy in our community for many years. We have many compliance pack patients in our community and also service the local long term care facility and seniors lodge in Trochu.
Our store hours are 9:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm Saturdays, and we are closed on Sundays and stat holidays. Our schedule is flexible, and may be able to accommodate a part time position for the right candidate if desired.
This position may start immediately but will remain open until the ideal candidate is found. Our ideal candidate is a pharmacist with injection and APA certifications (or has the desire to obtain these certifications within a reasonable timeframe) who is interested in utilizing these credentials to expand our clinical services and augment the dispensing process.
Of course, practice experience in a community pharmacy is an asset, but we encourage new pharmacy graduates to apply!
