What you’ll do: The Pharmacist will work in a supportive professional environment, which is characterized by a manageable volume of prescriptions in a newly renovated facility. Primary responsibilities will include dispensing, patient counseling, patient profile reviews, and public education activities.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:
 Deliver a high standard of usual Pharmacy functions including accurate preparation and counselling of medication
 Be encouraged and supported in practicing with the expanded scope-of-practice – including medication reviews and administering injections
 Promote health and wellness and educate customers and as appropriate, engage with customers both in and outside the store through community events, clinics, etc.
 Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations
Assist the Pharmacy Manager in developing and revising operational policies
and procedures
 Lead and motivate support team members through coaching and talent
development
 Practice within a culture of safety through adherence to Co-op standards for
health and safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence
 Provide positive, friendly and proactive interaction with all internal and
external customers; maintain high customer service standards at all times

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Pharmacy and:
 You have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
 You have a Pharmacy license to practice and are in good standing with the
College of Pharmacists in British Columbia
 Are committed to providing exceptional patient care
 Have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with
a diverse team in a growing pharmacy environment
 Can demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
 You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best
in what you do
 You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions

 You are able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and
weekends
