She has served as an Associate/Owner at multiple Shoppers Drug Mart locations and as the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations, where she also advocated for the expanded scope nationally and ensured Alberta’s unique needs were considered in pharmacy operations. Her role as a former board member and president of RXA, as well as a peer chair member, enabled her to advocate for pharmacists’ rights and promote their professional growth. Kelly’s work in these positions has been instrumental in ensuring that pharmacists have the tools and support they need to excel in their expanded scope of practice.

In addition to her extensive leadership roles, Kelly has been a champion for women in pharmacy. As a leader within the Women in Leadership for Associates (WILA) group at Shoppers Drug Mart, she has been a driving force behind initiatives supporting women in leadership roles. Kelly organizes events that foster networking, mentorship, and professional development, pairing female pharmacists with mentors and offering educational opportunities, including CE topics focused on women’s health.
